Mechanical Musical Memories in Gap, Pennsylvania
By Jim Canavan

I have visited Mike Naddeo's shop several times over the past few
years, as I go up to the Lancaster PA area regularly for the flea
markets. He also used to have a booth in Renninnger's, in Adamstown.
He has a lot of interesting stuff for both phonograph and mechanical
music fans.

Does anyone have any information as to how good his Duo-Art restora-
tions are? I'm interested in an upright D-A, and would like some info
on his work. According to Mike and his partner they're the best, but
I'd sure like some other professionals' advice. I'm seen and heard one
of his restored, regular 88-note players, and it sounded good, although
he did not totally rebuild the piano itself (hammers, strings, etc.).
