"La cathedrale engloutie" Played By Debussy
By Gerhard Dangel

Welte-Mignon 2738 Debussy, Claude
Preludes I, No. 1 Danseuses de Delphes
  No. 10 La cathedrale engloutie
No. 11 La danse de Puck

Unfortunately there are no good recordings of this piece available.
The only one I know is the Telefunken-Decca (Teldec) LP recorded in
the 'sixties, which is much too slow. We own this record, but there
is no record-player left.

We own that roll too, but I have no possibility to record this roll
at once, maybe within our next planned recording session in autumn.

Yours sincerely

Gerhard Dangel-Reese

P.S.: I just received a video, "Claude Debussy, Preludes 1er livre".
This was made for TV by Euroarts Leipzig, fax 49-341-14084-10,
http://www.euroartscom/ . It will include "Le cathedrale engloutie".
You should perhaps try to get a copy of that video.
