A good place to look for portraits of American businessmen and leaders
of other sorts is in the National Cyclopedia of American Biography.
That is a very large set (dozens of volumes with a cumulative index,
which is essential for its use) which might be found only in large
research libraries.

There are a couple of people I know of who are interested in the Deagan
firm.  You might see what help they can offer: William Pugh, 909 West

2432 W. Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53233 (phone: 414-931-0982).  Of
the two, Greg's interest seems to be more general; Pugh's may be just
in Deagan tower chimes.
