HI Tom,  Player pianos were invented around 1897 and didn't go into
serious production until 1904. So any 'old west' music was produced
40-50 years before the advent of the player piano.

My knowledge of player piano music starts at around 1911, so I'm not
certain if it would be relative to the period in question. But, I'm
going to forward your request to a large group of mechanical music
enthusiasts and perhaps one of them will be able to aid you in your
quest.
