Regina Sublima
By John Rutoskey

New rolls for the Regina Sublima are currently being cut by Dick Hack on
the same roll perforator that I used about 15 years ago here in Baltimore,
Maryland. Durward Center and I recut about a dozen rolls for the Regina
Sublima back then. You really can't appreciate how many holes are in a
roll until you do it one little punching at a time.

Dick is a wonderful man and a huge asset to this interest, especially in
the area of new rolls. I am not sure of his new shop number at the moment
since he has recently relocated, but he has ads in the MBSI Newsletter for
his excellent Violano-Virtuoso rolls. I would be glad to post a phone
number for Dick once I get it.

I think he is restoring two Sublima pianos and had new hammers made for at
least one of them. I bet he would have a lot of information on the topic.
