Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out on a question
I have.  ESTMIM is about to receive a Pianola donated to us, and I
never heard of the name that is on it.  Has anyone ever heard of
"Knoble"?  I was told that, that was the only markings and name on it.

He said it originally come from central Pennsylvania.  He described
the shape of it by having a flat top, resembling a Victrola top,
quartered oak panels with the center one having a wreath on it.  He
also said that it is all complete.  The fingers seem to "fold up" and
are partially made out of Aluminum.  This makes me very curious, and
I cannot wait to go pick it up.  But until then, I am still clueless
about the name that appears on it.  I thought maybe that "KNOBLE" was
a dealer's name.  But if that is the case, WHO made it?  I am hoping
that by describing the cabinet style, that one of you can possibly
come up with a name or two of manufacturers that made them in that
style with folding fingers.  Very interesting!
