Is this something for the archives?

A musician playing off the sheet does a lot more than copying it into
sound or introduce randomness. That is what conservatory education is
about or learning the characteristics of other styles - all of them have
their performance rules. Anders Friberg, a young colleague at my lab
made his career doing research in this field and has a web page with
some demonstrations and links at:
