Tangley Calliope Rollframe
By Bruce Miller

I recently posted a request for information regarding gears for the
rollframe of my Tangley Calliope, which I am currently restoring. I
received several gear source suggestions, which I thank you for. I
turns out that some of the potmetal gears are in such bad condition
that they cannot reliably be measured nor teeth numbers and pitch
determined. Every gear on the rollframe is bad. To make matters worse,
the rollframe had been totally disassembled about 45 years ago, and a
number or parts are missing. Without another one to look at, I cannot
tell what exactly what is what. I am beginning to think that it might
be easier to purchase a complete one if it can be found. Can anyone
offer any help or have any suggestions? Thanks!
