Airflow In Orchestrion Vacuum & Pressure Pumps
By Bernt Damm

Hi all, Could anyone out there give me an idea of the vacuum airflow
required for the average O-roll orchestrion with piano, percussion and
xylophone? The same question applies to the pressure blower to blow to
ranks of pipes for the O-roll solo instrument.

I need to have an estimate of the throughput because someone out here
has offered me an industrial blower that runs very silently and I might
use it instead of a vacuum motor turbine if it is suitable. Thanks a
lot in advance.
