Rescuing Abandoned Pianos
By Thomas Buffer

It is sad to hear of player pianos being destroyed because of lack of
interest or storage space. I have worked with a local museum run by
a church in Columbus, Ohio, where old church furnishings are given a
place to stay when they become redundant or unwanted. At present we
have four pipe organs and a grand piano -- but no player pianos. We
do have a Wicks roll player under restoration.

Anyone who wants to donate player pianos to the "Jubilee 2000 Museum"
at Holy Family Church should contact me. All donations are tax-
deductible.
