Restored vs. Unrestored Player Pianos
By Patrick Boeckstijns

I have no problem finding restored player pianos that cost a
fortune. My problem is the opposite. No one over here wants to sell
an unrestored piano, like a Duo-Art. They prefer to let them rot in
a shed, because one day (who knows) they may be worth a fortune.

And anyway, the fewer there are left, the higher the value of the
remaining ones. It's pure speculation. That's what I was told by
a local dealer.
