Dear MMDs,  As was announced previously in the 991014 Digest by Alan
Whytock, Douglas Heffer, an internationally recognized specialist of
reproducing pianos living in Paris (France), gave several concerts in
mid-November at a very important piano festival in Lucerne (Switzer-
land). I was not able to attend.

I spoke recently on the phone with Douglas, who was very pleased with
the concerts, the audiences, and the echo given to these events by the
newspapers, radio and TV.

Was an MMD member able to attend these concerts ?  Could he give us
his feelings ?
