FS: Wurlitzer 165 Roll 6723-6724
By Matthew Caulfield

I have 5 extra copies of the last two Wurlitzer 165 rolls produced out
of North Tonawanda by Ralph Tussing (in 1966 and 1967), which I have
hand-composited into one 12-tune roll. Thus there are splices between
all of the tunes on the roll, but they do not affect the playing at
all. The tunes on the roll are:

  1. England Swings (Roger Miller) FT
  2. The Wheel Of Hurt (Singleton & Snyder) FT
  3. We Can Work It Out (Lennon & McCartney) FT
  4. Indescribably Blue (Darrell Glenn) FT
  5. A Taste Of Honey (Bobby Scott) FT
  6. A Little Bit Of Soap (Bert Russell) FT
  7. Wives And Lovers (Bert F. Bacharach) W
  8. Turn Around (Raynolds, Belafonte & Greene) W
  9. Spanish Eyes (Bert Kaempfert) FT
 10. Hello, Dolly! (Jerry Herman) FT
 11. Silver Bells (Livingston & Evans) W
 12. Guantanamera (traditional; adapted by Angulo & Seeger) FT

The arrangements are good, "Hello Dolly!" being the best and
"Guantanamera" the oddest, and in compositing them I adjusted the
erratic length of the various tunes so that each plays for about
2-1/2 minutes.

Each 12-tune roll costs $49 and comes with fabric leader and
telescoping black Wurlitzer-style box. Shipping by book rate will
probably add another $3. Be the first on your block -- in your state
even -- to own and play these two historic, end-of-an-era rolls.
