Baldwin Orgasonic Electronic Organ
By Paul West

Orgasonic organs were home organs made by the Baldwin piano company
of Cincinnati, Ohio. A generation ago Baldwin was one of the major
manufacturers of electronic organs.

The first organs with the Orgasonic name were introduced around 1957,
if memory serves, and by 1965 the Orgasonics were transistorized except
for vacuum tubes in the audio power amplifier. Service manuals for all
the old Baldwin organs, including the Orgasonics, can be purchased from

  Stevens Custom Organ Co.
  330 North West Ave.
  Fayetteville, AR 72701
  tel: 501-521-9240

They have a web page at http://www.mitatechs.com/stevens1.html

You will need to know the model number of your organ. There should be
a metal name plate somewhere on the organ, either on the back or
perhaps under the keyboard shelf, with this information.
