It's time for my annual shopping alert!  "Mr. Christmas" disc playing
music boxes are in the stores, although not very many stores, I'm
surprised to note.  And there are at least two different models, both
using the same Sankyo 20-note movement as the strip players in past
years, but with entirely different cases.

I found a simple square cased model in Lowe's Home Stores, and a more
elaborate larger cased one in Sam's Club yesterday.  They are both
priced around $70 and have 16 discs.  They are a really neat item, and
I'll let you know when I figure out a material and the formula to make
additional discs.  The ones that come with them are a thin plastic.
