Modern Piano Movers does work for many different piano stores
(including Avery Piano of Providence, RI, who recommended them to me).
They moved my Steinway Duo-Art XR from Wakefield, RI to Atlanta, GA
last June.  They move all across the country, and have several trucks
in different regions of the country.  If the move is far enough (like
mine from RI to GA), they bring it to their hub in Missouri and then
put it in another truck which covers the appropriate region.

In a (somewhat) odd coincidence, my mother-in-law in Pittsburgh had
decided in early July of 1999 to purchase a Fischer Ampico located
outside Philadelphia.  A local piano store arranged for its transport,
and the very same guys from Modern Piano Movers started speaking to my
mother-in-law about how they had just moved a player grand for a guy in
Atlanta who actually made his OWN rolls.  "Hey, that's my son-in-law!"

Anyway, they did a nice job, and the piano got here safe and sound.
