Saint-Saens Concerto in G-minor Op. 22
By Cheniston K Roland, forwarded

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

I would be delighted if you or any of your members could direct me to
the page that contains MIDI files of the great pianist Paul Wittgen-
stein playing the Saint-Saens Piano Concerto #2 on Ampico #53717.

It was great to discover the Piano Ring which I am sure will lead me
to many expert people. My own site below is part of the Violin Ring.

Your site is very fine and I am sure will blossom out to a great tree
of piano knowledge.

Warmest regards

[ A small problem: the Ampico rolls were recorded not by Paul
[ Wittgenstein (born in Vienna), but by Victor Wittgenstein
[ (born in Kentucky). Downloadable files of the Ampico rolls,
[ transcribed and emulated for MIDI by Horst Mohr, are at
 [ http://mmd.foxtail.com/Sounds/
[ The Duo-Art recording by Harold Bauer is available from
 [ Spencer Chase <spencer@mcn.org> http://nt.mcn.org/spencer/
[ Super sounding piano sound fonts are offered by Warren Trachtman,
