Octave Numbers

C5 is also the accepted octave number for Middle C when working with
bells and chimes.  I direct and arrange for several bell choirs and,
though it's not the only standard, it is well-recognized by many
musicians.  As the first note of octave 5, one can easily remember
the MIDI number of 60, as 5 x 12.
