Rollographies at RPRF Web Site
By Albert Petrak

Matthew Caulfield's note relative to catalog listings (MMD 000116)
reminds that the anniversary of the posting of the Reproducing Piano
Roll Foundation's debut (2/29/99) is approaching. We will have a
substantial update, with corrections for some catalogs, plus
information relative to the project of restoration of the 78 roll
recordings made by Ferruccio Busoni (1866-1924).

This will serve, as well, as a reminder that the RPRF supplies complete
catalog listings for the so-called "classical" series of both Duo-Art
and Ampico, as well as a virtually-complete listing of Welte (original
German) and domestic Welte-Mignon. Further, what has been gleaned from
catalog sources for all other companies producing classical recordings
is available; the material is furnished in Adobe PDF files because of
length and detail. All material is supplied at no charge to all at

  http://www.rprf.org/index.html

Interested parties are invited to contact this site if additional
information is required. We are in the process of obtaining a
501(3)(c) classification with the IRS, and when secured, solicitation
for funds will be undertaken. Consult the web site for specific
information and detail.
