"In the Baggage Coach Ahead"
By Jack M. Conway

Hi group, Maybe the tune that you are looking for is

"There's A Little Box Of Pine On The '7:29'", QRS Roll number 5542,
originally Imperial Ind. Corp., U.S.A., Mountain Tune Played by
Scott and Waters, by Handman & Goodman.

A couple of other melodramatic tear-jerkers are:

"Picture That Is Turned Toward The Wall, Mountain Tune"
QRS number 3938, Played by Harold Scott.

"Break The News To Mother" (Marimba Effects)
  QRS number 406, Harris 1907.

Robbie also mentioned a while back that he thought that he remembered
"Lindbergh, Eagle of the U.S.A." as being a satire. I played QRS
number Q-117 (Formerly IN-93707), "Lindbergh, Eagle of the U.S.A.",
March Song, and it seems to me to be a "Hats Off" to Lucky Lindy for
his great accomplishment.

Jack M. Conway, Los Angeles, California, USA

[ When you compare the other maudlin Lindbergh songs with "Eagle"
[ then you'll notice the fresh flavor of the song. I think today
[ we would call it a "high camp" satire! ;) -- Robbie
