Hex Core Strings in Schimmel Pianos
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Back in mid January I wrote to Schimmel Pianos because I had
heard from Mapes that they were the only company they knew of that used
hex core strings in their pianos. Here's the reply I received today.
I'll scan the brochure when it arrives and send it on along to the MMD.

Musically,

John A. Tuttle

Dear Mr. Tuttle, sorry for our late answer. You asked if we would
use hex core wire in the production of the bass strings in Schimmel
instruments -- yes, we do so, in some strings.

The brochure "Pianofortebau - ein Kunsthandwerk" will be sent by
separate mail. Thank you for your interest in Schimmel products.

Best regards, sincerely yours
