Showman's Terms in Great Britain
By Tom McAuley

Hi all! I just finished reading the book "On Display" published by
Fair Organ Preservation Society (FOPS). It was a very interesting book
and is full of neat pictures. However, I was born and raised in the
US and don't always understand that language they use in the UK!
Can somebody please help me?

 - Is a galloper the same thing as a merry-go-round?
 - What is a bioscope show?
 - What is a scenic railway ride (in the context of
   a traveling carnival)?

Thanks,

Tom McAuley
