Seek Seeburg L Credit Unit
By Roger Hughes

Hi folks, As a new subscriber I would like to take this opportunity
to say "Thank you" for the Mechanical Music Digest! I found this
wonderful site two days after setting up my new computer back in July
1999. I always enjoy the articles and intelligent banter between the
various contributors.

I have just purchased a little Seeburg "L" and need a bit of help.
The instrument is missing the inner coin chute and credit unit.
Replacing the chute is not a problem, but the credit unit is another
matter. I cannot seem to find a decent photo of what the unit looks
like. I've gone through every reference book I can find and still have
had no luck. I have a credit unit from a Seeburg "B", and I feel I can
use some of its parts if I can see how the credit wheel is connected.

Better yet, does anyone have a spare one for sale, or for loan, so
I can duplicate the little beast? I've seen one in a Western Electric
nickelodeon that would probably work. Thank you!
