MIDI Interface for Mechanical Music Instruments
By John Wale

Dear John and MMD, Further to Bob Loesch's comments in Thursday's
Digest 000223, can I invite you to have a look at my web site for
details on equipment to 'MIDIfy' instruments:

   http://www.jwelectronics.free-online.co.uk/

I have been producing MIDI interfaces for mechanical music for several
years now and over this time the MTP-1 which provides 32 note outputs
has proved to be a popular product. This is a cost effective way to
add all the bonuses of MIDI to a 'conventional' instrument. You would
need to supply solenoid valves to operate the action, but everything
else including power drivers are included on the MTP-1 board.

I hope this is of interest to you. If you would like any further
details, please feel free to contact me.

Regards,

John Wale
