Well, I was going to say that the best Regina is a Reginaphone, since
these all have a variable governor for adjusting the "tempo" to 78 RPM
to play the records.  This is a centrifugal friction governor, the same
as used in phonographs.  On my Style 246 (the late, plain model with
short bedplate and dual comb) the governor control has quite a wide
range, much more than needed for 78s, so is very handy for playing with
various tempi.

The other advantage of the Reginaphone governor is its constant speed
control, so the discs play at the same tempo without the gradual
slowing down typical of music boxes with air-brake governors.

There is a mark on the speed dial for the suggested music box speed,
which is where I usually leave it, and would set it to get a "typical"
timing of a disc.  Mine plays a tune of 50 seconds, not counting
3-4 more seconds of silence at the start point.
