These instruments, like the "Mandolin Guitar Harp", whose many
varieties include the auto-harp and a few mechanical models,
are all mutations of the [Austro-Hungarian] zither.  (Remember
the "Third Man"?)

As a generic name, I nominate "Zitheroids".
