In MMD 1998.06.24 there was a reference to a wonderful web site that
presented details about the marvelous androids of Jaquet-Droz, both by
means of pictures (including 3-D versions) and by a translation of the
French text of Chapuis.  Unfortunately these pages disappeared from
their original web location without leaving any reference.

A letter to the author, Julie S. Porter, revealed the new location that
I want to inform the MMD about.  The new address of the "Unofficial
Jaquet-Droz Home Page" is
