Organ Blower Chamber Soundproofing
By John McClure

I am considering locating the blower/vacuum unit for my Reproduco in
a walk-in closet across the room from the installation of my Reproduco
piano pipe organ. Will I loose and pressure/vacuum by running 20
or 30 feet or so of hose connector, given that my hose is air tight?

The unit is fairly noisy and the soundproofing would be a great
advantage, but it's a lot of work for nothing if it reduces the wind
pressure. Also, has anyone had any success with any kind of baffling
or insulation to reduce noise?

Thanks John McClure (p.s. thanks for the many tips for Italy)
