To Whom It May Concern,

With a heavy heart I must inform you that my husband, Tom Steuer, has
passed away.  He died on Sept. 15 of cancer and I know he would have
wanted to say goodbye to all of you.  He loved MMD and I thank you for
making his life better for it.  I am going to have to sell some of his
collection including a vorsetzer and would appreciate any help I can
get from any of the MMD group.

 [   I'm saddened by the news, as I'm sure many of our readers will
 [ be.  I'm glad to hear we enriched Tom's life.  Thanks for sharing
 [ that with us.  I have taken a certain amount of grief from my
 [ family for my dedication to the mechanical music hobby and to the
 [ MMD in particular.  I've been reminded many times recently that
 [ life is short and unpredictable.  For me, I couldn't wait until I
 [ retired to get to know those with our shared interest.  There
 [ will be fewer of us left by then.  I think all our readers should
 [ consider that perhaps this is a good time to call or visit that
 [ friend you haven't been in touch with for a while ?
