Mario,  When I was rebuilding my Duo-Art grand back in the '70s, it was
original and unrestored.  The roll pump was not covered in rubber but
a thin rubberized cloth.  I replaced it with the thinnest bellows cloth
I could find, and it has been working perfectly ever since.
