I'm restoring an art case grand which has a duet style matching piano
bench, currently covered in a tapestry.  In my mind's eye, it cries out
for a needlepoint cover, featuring a musical motif of some kind.

The traditional suppliers of such a product do not seem to carry
anything but piano bench covers with a floral design.  What I have
in mind might well emerge from the inlaid lid of a cylinder music box.

Has anyone photographed the lid of a nice cylinder music box with
the objective of transferring the image to a blank needlepoint canvas?
Any suggestions on this might be accomplished?  Anybody out there with
a cylinder box with an inlaid design that might be suitable for such
a project?  Thoughts of others?
