[ Re 001114 MMDigest, Seek Music of Old Barrel Organs ]

Hello Mogens,  I have a friend who lives near me in western New York
State.  This friend has several dozen recordings of barrel organs.
He has made and collected these recordings in order to preserve the
music.  Many of the organs he has restored himself -- and, from a
musical standpoint, he does the best restorations possible.

He is away for two weeks, but if you will send me an e-mail in late
November, I will mention it to him and arrange for you two to
communicate.

We are now working on a device (with a third friend) to made records
of the pinning of barrel organs.  We have made the first trial
recording and will have an automatic process complete as soon as we
work a few bugs out of the interface.
