Thanks to everyone at MMD who sent advice about my Polyphon missing the
top mounted dampers. The advice of Craig, Cecil and Houston proved very
helpful.  Perhaps the most telling is the sketch by Craig showing in
section how the dampers mount to the comb and interact with the star
wheels. (This is now posted on the MMD site.)

I will try to machine some sheet mylar or spring brass, cutting slits
to matching  comb slit spacing. If it turns out to work and wear well,
will let you know.
