Not too many years ago, there was a sign in a job printing shopfront
in Sydenham high street near the station which said:

      PRINTING

 *  Top Quality Work
 *  Lowest Prices
 *  Fast Service  [and in very small type at the bottom:]

    Pick Any Two

 [ apposite = very pertinent or appropriate.  A fine word not
