MBSI Exhibit at Lockwood-Mathews Mansion
By Diane H. Kay

Last Sunday I brought my husband and parents-in-law on an outing
to the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion in Norwalk, Connecticut, to see the
MBSI exhibit of mechanical music machines.

The mansion is a "work-in-progress" but it's also is a perfectly
wonderful place even in its semi-restored condition. The mechanical
music collection delighted and impressed me and my family, and we had
a terrific, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide in the person of Mr.
Joe Teagarden, who showed us everything about the collection and so
thoroughly answered all of our many questions. It was such a thrill!

I've never seen so many beautiful music machines in one place in my
life, and Mr. Teagarden made the day and the tour of the machines
utterly memorable. If you, dear reader, live in Connecticut or close
by, I hope you'll take the opportunity sometime soon to visit the
Mansion and the MBSI exhibit!

Sincerely,
Diane H Kay
