Hello MMD-ers: A friend of mine just bought a complete, unrestored
Seeburg Mortuary Organ, which is apparently a player-piano-organ
combination used in funeral homes.

The instrument comes complete with the factory original remote suction
and pressure unit needed to drive it.  There is no room in the bottom
of the piano case for it since a rank of pipes is there.  The rest of
the pipes are attached to the back of the piano, so it stands deeper
from the wall than an ordinary player.  Bowers' "Encyclopedia" just
barely mentions these things on page 616.

The questions we have are (1) Does it use 9-to-the-inch perfed rolls or
something else?  (2) Are the rolls 11-1/4" wide like an ordinary player
roll, or some other width?  Although I have not seen the instrument,
I have been told the case is walnut.

That brings up the third question: Does anybody want a nice Seeburg
Mortuary Organ?  If funerals accompanied by a player piano come back
in style, you can make a killing.  My friend is open to offers, and
as soon as I can get good photographs of it, we are likely to put it
on eBay.
