Value of Wilcox & White Organ Rolls
By Pat DeWitt

I read with interest the recent articles about the Wilcox & White
player organ. In the 1970's I attended an auction where one of these
organs was sold and I did not have the money to buy it. However,
separately they later sold a collection of W&W rolls which I did get.
(I also got a nearly complete Ampico A drawer for $6 at that auction).
I have always hoped that I could either get an organ or sell the rolls
when I found out how valuable they are.

I have 28 rolls which measure from 9-3/16" to 9-1/4" wide and they play
upside down. Does anyone know what they are worth? I can supply a
complete list.

Does anyone know if there was more than one roll type or size for the
W&W organ family, or do my rolls fit the "generic" Wilcox & White organ?
Also, how available are the Wilcox and White organs? I am not looking
for a fancy cabinet, as long as it is in good restorable condition.

Thanks for your help,
