Adding MIDI Control to Pneumatic Player Systems
By Randolph Herr

I am currently looking to sell an original Seeburg Mortuary Organ
on eBay, and in the ad I mention that the tracker tubes can be "teed"
into a electric-pneumatic device that opens a hole to atmosphere when
triggered by the midi-reader. This is similar in concept (exactly the
same, actually) to Larry Broadmoore's PowerRoll.

Since putting in the ad, I have had several emails from people wanting
more information. I have not found enough in the MMD Archives to
explain to me exactly what is the state of this art, and so I invite
anybody with information to send it in to MMD so we can all see exactly
where we are technically as well as financially.
