Quieting a Piano
By Richard Schneider

Michael Concordia asks the MMD'ers the following:

Well, you _could_ try playing in the key of "Off"! Seriously, There
are sources of Acoustical foam materials available commercially that
might have better sound absorption properties than the wool blanket.
Try searching for acoustical foam. I thought I had a couple of
bookmarks to offer the list, but they are currently eluding me.

It may also be a serious possibility to consider a digital piano where
a set of earphones can be employed where needed. I would think always
playing as quietly as possible might lead to some pretty awful
fingering technique!

Faithfully
