I may be using my MIDI-controlled Welte Vorsetzer for a demonstration
at the MBSI convention in Chicago.  I am looking for a possible ride
for it from Northern California or for suggestions as to a safe and
inexpensive way to ship it without damage.

I have just begun to research shipping methods and think that a
furniture mover would be better than a common carrier as they take
better care of the items in their charge?  I am willing to provide any
crating that is necessary, but it has been suggested that crates can
cause more damage if not brutally strong, and this means a lot of
weight.

The Vorsetzer is a late model and is not very heavy.  It does not have
a decorative case right now, but I estimate the weight will be around
200 pounds when it does.

Any advice would be appreciated.
