I have to disagree strongly with this.  Windows is most definitely not a
heavy-duty operating system.  Windows has a very poorly designed
architecture internally, and is given to a great deal of random problems.
Only in the hands of an extraordinarily skilled administrator is it even
remotely satisfactory.  If the machine has to keep running, UNIX is the
only choice.  UNIX has a vastly superior internal design, and with a UPS,
quality hardware and is left alone, it can run virtually forever.
