Thank you to everybody who gave advice regarding this matter.  I had
to replace all the face leather in the secondary valves, the wrong one
was too porous.

I choose this time, and thankfully, a very smooth hairless leather,
and the final result was a player much easier to 'pump', compared to
what it was.
