In reply to some of the off-list messages I've received I would like
to add some information about the music box I bought.  The eBay item
number for this item is 890543182.  This way you can get a look at the
box in it's better condition; unfortunately, the description doesn't
give much help for identifying it.  I don't know if the pictures would
help or not, but they are there if they can help.

I had one person look at it who specializes in music box repair and
restoration. The other person is in antique repair, but not really in
music boxes.  While talking with him, he mentioned owning and selling
one or more, so he may know something.  Their cost estimates were
similar.

Although I'm only 40 miles out of Philadelphia, I'm not having much
luck finding people near me, nor books that could help.  It seems that
every book title I find is out of print so I can't get it anymore.
I had to drive 60 to 70 miles to get to that specialist.
