CDROM of Disklavier Piano e-Competition Files
By Peter Phillips

I'm pleased to be able to report that US and Canadian residents
can now get a copy of the recent Yamaha e-competition files from
Terry Smythe <smythe@shaw.ca>.

Terry has agreed to make copies of the CD as required, and at his
suggestion we have included a few sample files from my Ampico e-roll
collection. We have developed artwork to make the CD look good,
and there's lots of information about the e-competition contestants
along with over 100 files of some wonderful piano music.

To meet the costs of production, postage and packing, Terry will
be charging $10 for a CD. He is not making any money out of it,
just covering costs. Otherwise it would be impossible to do this.
Payment should be in the form of a prepaid instrument of some kind,
such as a bank money order, postal money order or certified check;
raw cash to be avoided.

To obtain the CD, send an email to Terry who will advise on how to
send the $10 payment. And when you get the CD, make sure you listen
to the Nutcracker Suite, a Plentnev arrangement played by Tatiana
Kolessova. I had never heard this arrangement before, and in my
opinion it captures all the wonder and beauty of the original score.
It's also fabulous piano playing!
