I have personally spoken with Paul this morning and assure readers
of the MMD that he is alive and well in Champaign, Illinois.

For the record, I had no problem getting a hold of him.  He does
answer when called if he is there, but he was in and out much of
June and July and some of August.  I also know that he has been having
problems with his fax machine and he said he must have lost a larger
volume of data sent than he thought.
