Building a Music Box
By Brian McFadden

I've recently become interested in building my own music box, or
something similar. I've asked a few of the local dealers, and they
say it would be a big undertaking, and it would probably be
cost-prohibitive. I did some searching around the web, but couldn't
find anything that really helped. I was wondering if anyone on this
list has had any experience doing this, and if there was any advice
that could be imparted.

If there is any sort of music box kit available for sale, that would
be interesting as well. The kits that I've seen, however, play only a
specific tune, and I'm more interested in getting the mechanism to play
a tune of my own choice.

Comments are welcome. Thanks.
