Audio-to-MIDI Conversion

However, one of the more interesting uses for such a program would be
to compare a good performance with a printed score.  This would show
how the performer used rubato and phrasing to turn a bare score into
music.

We all know that a MIDI player which just plays everything exactly as
written sounds like a Dalek.
