My Unknown Music Box
By Tim Kramer

What measurements would be most useful from a cylinder music box?
I've taken the length of the cylinder, 11" or 27.7 cm, the length of
the bedplate, 16" or 40.6 cm , the width of the bedplate, 5-1/4" or
13.3 cm, and the length of the comb, 10-11/16" or 27.2 cm.

I don't know if it will help or not but the number which is on the tune
list and stamped in the one bridge is 45685. I'll give more information
about that along with a picture of the tune list. I also hope to have
the photos ready sometime over the weekend.

I am uncertain about getting the circumference of the cylinder as I don't
want to take it apart and there isn't enough room to easily (if at all)
get the tape measure between it and the bedplate.

>From the little reading I did of the book, I was wondering if it's
important that there are no pins in the comb. Does that mean it is
a replacement comb? Does any of this help?
