Value of Violano-Virtuoso Sign
By Chris Carlisle

Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone who wrote me about my
grandparents with words of praise and thanks! Thanks to you all.
They both taught me about being honest and working hard in life. It
sure has paid off. I am in their debt. I hope I am as good a teacher
to my daughter as they were to me.

Okay, guys! I have a question for you all. I found an original
cardboard Violano-Virtuoso sign with the original frame (which has
fallen apart). The brown on the top is from the original brown backing
board which I set behind the sign. I am thinking this is from about
the mid 1910's? Anyone have a value on something like this? I also
have tons of files with original catalogs from the various companies;
some are quite old. Tell me what you think. Here is the link:

Thanks
Chris Carlisle
