Band Organ Clown
By Art Reblitz

My shop is restoring a Wurlitzer 125 which was once used in the
Wonderland Amusement Park in Amarillo, Texas, and then later in a
different park in Texas. At some unknown time in the past, it was
equipped with a clown "playing" a small keyboard added to the front of
the cabinet. The clown's hands moved left and right, his head nodded,
and his shoulders moved up and down as he played.

I haven't personally seen Joyland Louie in Wichita, Kansas, but it's
possible that the same shop created both clowns. At one time it was
quite nice, but it has seen better days.

Can anyone out there provide more of the clown's (or the organ's)
history? The owner will sell the clown for a modest price plus the cost
of crating/shipping, to someone who might remember it and have a desire
to preserve it.
